TMX stands for Translation Memory eXchange, it is a standard that aims at providing a common way of structuring, reusing and exchanging translation memory data. The OSCAR special interest group, from LISA (Localisation Industry Standards Association), is responsible for its definition.

A list for localisation clients and vendors, created with the aim of looking at standards together so that a Translation Object can be standardised. They examine OPENTAG, TMX and other XML standards.
